The 7 Evidences for Believing the Bible

I.                   This article is about why I believe that the bible is the word of God.

A.    I believe that the Bible is the word of God because of seven evidences. These 7 evidences are:

1.      It’s uniqueness

2.      It’s reliability

3.      It’s honesty

4.      It’s prophetic accuracy

5.      It‘s  Universal Message

6.      It’s  Thematic Continuity

7.      It’s Moral Code

I could have come up with a few more, but I believe that these seven evidences are the things that led me to believe for myself that the Bible is the word of God and that I should believe its contents.  So this article is about these seven evidences and how they played a part in the development of my faith in God and ultimately in Jesus, the Christ, the Son of God.

B.    The Uniqueness of  the Bible
1.      Many people make the mistake that the Bible is a singular work created by men.  Yes men were the co-authors of the Bible but a singular work it is not.  The Bible is a library of Holy books written by men from all walks of life, compiled into one volume.  What makes this library different from any other library in the world is the fact that all its human authors speak of and about the words and deeds of God and his relationship with mankind.  What so unique about that, nothing if those men lived at the same time and conspired to compose and compile the Bible, then the Bible would be the distinct creation of mankind.  Telling himself that there is a great mystical spiritual being somewhere controlling the unseen forces of the universe and of the earth, but that is not what happen with the bible. The Bible is the work of several different men that lived at different times and in different places who wrote their experiences with God or wrote about God’s actions among men.  Because they wrote about God at different times there was no plan or plot to compile the Bible. The cause of the compilation of what we know now as the bible came as result of the church attempting to defend itself from heresies from self-proclaimed Apostles and prophets.  Who created their own compilation of what they deemed to be scripture and was preaching it throughout the Christian world.  So what was so wrong with that?  Nothing if they did not cause a disbelief in the original tenets of the faith, but they did challenge the original tenants of the faith and cause the church to develop the Apostles Creed which embodied the original tenets of the faith that all the church adhered to.  All this and other factors allowed the church to produce and preserve what has been accepted as divinely inspired scripture. No other book in the world is like the books of the Bible, for the Bible is the only collection of writings that speak about God’s love for mankind.  This is what makes the Bible unique.  When I discovered the Bibles uniqueness, I realized why it is so precious in the minds of so many believers and treasured by so many more.  Because for some it is Gods voice that speaks to them who seek its comfort in this modern world.  Thereby making it the number one best-selling book in the world for all time since its creation.  It has suffered attack,  through persecution, and criticism it has survived and answered in response.  This makes the Bible, to me, the word of God.

A.    The reliability of the Bible
1.      There are just too many things that just make the Bible a very reliable text.  First of all let’s define what I mean be reliability.  What I mean by reliability is that the text despite all the challenges to it has proven itself to be consistent.  Surely there are those who in times past pointed to times and events listed in the bible as plausibly untrustworthy.  Like the locations of cities or the events in the life of a principal character, only to find out that later through another archeological or scientific find that the bible is confirmed to be telling the truth.
2.      Another thing concerning its reliability is when an old biblical book is found written in the ancient languages of Hebrew, Aramaic or Greek, those who oppose biblical accuracy  claim that these ancient text proves that the Bible has been modified.  This is not the case when the claim is more closely inspected and it is found that the bible in concept and idea is not changed since its creation.  Because of this accuracy an archeologist can take a bible into the Holy land and just about see all the sights concerning Jerusalem that the Bible talks about in detail.
B.     The Bible’s Honesty
1.      What do I mean by Honesty? What I mean that the Bible displays the evil actions of men as well as the righteous actions of men.    Some have taken offense that acts of war and adultery that are literarily displayed in the Bible and deem it as an unholy book.  The Bible is a book of the historic dealings of God with mankind and how mankind under the eyes of  the Creator of the Universe treat each other.   I admit the Bible does not sugar coat these events or omits them, but rather displays them in contrast with stories of men doing the right thing and God being with them. What that shows is that the Bible is an honest library of texts each containing accurate stories of events so that we who read it for guidance will not make the same errors our predecessors made and follow the examples of when our predecessors did the right thing and obeyed God.
C.    The Bible’s prophetic accuracy
1.      The one of the things that validates a Holy book as divinely inspired is the number of fulfilled prophecies within it.  The Holy Bible is a Holy library full of prophecies within it, but it was just a collection of books that contain a myriad of prophecies that were never fulfilled  then its divine inspiration  could be doubted.  The Bible has many prophecies that have come to pass or have been fulfilled.  There are 33 principle Bible prophecies that Jesus, the Christ has fulfilled for example.  It is not that there are only 33 Biblical prophecies pertaining to the Christ that Jesus of Nazareth fulfilled, there are many more that he fulfilled.  There is 33 principle prophecies in the bible concerning the coming of the anointed one, the Christ, the Messiah that Jesus of Nazareth fulfilled.   There are other prophecies that were spoken by other biblical prophets that came to pass. For example  Jeremiah prophesied about the coming of the New Testament.  Daniel prophesied about the end of the Babylonian Empire and of the coming of and end of successive empires prior to the coming of Christianity.  There is the prophecy of Israel becoming a nation again in the last days.  I could go on and on, but the point is such a collection of Holy books,  a Holy Bible,  to have so many accurately fulfilled prophecies  that have been attested to be divinely inspired from God  through the voices and words of men who have been called into His service to deliver his message to the people  how could I not consider the Holy Bible to be the inspiration Word of God.
D.    The Holy Bible’s Universal Message
1.    The divinely inspired books that comprised the Holy Bible has an universal message.  That encompassing universal message of God’s love for Mankind.  It is a message of God’s compassion through redemption.  The messages is unfolded through the testimonies of the lives of various men and women that have had an experience with the living God.  These testimonies  illustrates  the testimony of the love he has toward those believers.  Does God only love those who love him? He loves all in that he extended his redemption to all.  Let’s talk about redemption as expression of God’s love.  Redemption is a financial action.  Redemption is the act of buying something back from someone that possessed it.  Adam lost his spiritual authority and power as well as earthly authority to Satan in the Garden of Eden.  Adam sold his birthright to Satan in exchange for being like God.   Adam by doing so committed the very first transgression, by which God could only fellowship with the first Man and woman by the shedding the blood of Animals.  From that point on if anyone wanted to be in fellowship with God he had to shed the blood of  an animal.  For the transgression  that the first man and first woman committed  against the command of God condemned  his descendants  with a sinful nature.  Some people say that Adam’s sin was his own and God forgave him in the Garden.  Yes God forgave Adam, that is not the issue.  The issue is how God chose how to forgive Adam.  Because just to verbally forgive someone that violated the command of God does not erase the transgression.  God killed and shed the blood of animals and put their bloody skins to Adam to wear so that he could fellowship with Adam.  Adam taught his sons about the atonement offering, for  Abel took a lamb and shed its blood  and offered it to God  as a token of gratefulness and symbol  of  atonement  for his own sinful nature.  Cain worked the cursed soil and presented the produce of it out of his grateful nature.  God showed favor to Abel’s offering because he was following the atonement practice of his father Adam.  Cain became jealous of how God showed acceptance of Abel’s offering and killed his brother Abel, thinking that God would be forced to accept his offering of produce.  Sometime later Noah when he departed from the Ark performed the atonement sacrifice out of thankfulness.  God was pleased with the offering of Noah, because God knew that practice of atonement would be continued beyond Noah’s time.  Here is the question: If Adam’s sinfulness was his own why did he teach the atonement sacrifice to his sons?  Why did Noah, many years later, performed the atonement sacrifice when he departed the ark if Adam’s sinfulness was his own?  Why continue to offer atonement offering if sinfulness was limited only to the life span of Adam? Sinfulness died with Adam, right?  No. Sinfulness or the sinful nature is an attribute of mankind because of Adam’s transgression.  When Adam disobeyed the command of God in the Garden, sinfulness became a part of the spiritual DNA of mankind.  For if the sinful nature of Adam is not transferable to his descendants, then what sense to have many generations practice the atonement offering?  That makes no sense whatsoever.  Furthermore, how does God’s act of forgiving Adam’s transgression of his command by shedding the blood of animals be limited to only Adam’s life?  As long as sinful mankind exists on the earth atonement of that sinfulness required the shedding the blood.  When Moses appeared on the scene the practice of then atonement offering became codified, that is made law.  Now if a person could not perform an atonement offering itself, he was in violation of the law of God, consigning him or her to sin and condemnation.  Now would it be compassionate of God to allow a host of people who could not offer an atonement offering to remain in a condemned sinful state? Of course not! So what does God do about Adam selling his birthright for sinfulness and disobedience?  He redeems mankind, Adam’s descendants. He purchases mankind souls back by an act of redemption.  God by that act of redemption He relieves the Law of its legal authority upon all men and resigns it as an advisor to all who believe. By the same act of redemption God ratifies the promise of salvation by faith to all who believe in Him.  At the center of God’s act of redemption is the person of Jesus of Nazareth, because he came preaching remission (the forgiveness) of sins. He was preaching the forgiveness of sins without performing an atonement offering.  This was against what the religious authority in Jesus’ day was endorsing, which was the legal requirement of the atonement for the sinfulness
of men.  John the Baptist began the preaching of the remission of sins and used water baptism to symbolize the cleansing that was to come.  Jesus took the ministry of preaching the remission of sins symbolized by water baptism over as John was removed from the scene and continued it until Jesus died  upon the Cross according to the will of God.  Now why would God use one man to die in the stead of all who believe or not believe in Jesus and his message?  It is because God had chosen one man to be the vehicle of which His act of redemption would be accomplished to put to the end the practice of atonement once and forever to enable mankind to fellowship with God.  This universal message of God’s redemption, God’s love for mankind, God’s compassion is centered in the message, sacrifice and resurrection of Jesus. Echoed from the prophecies of the ages and fulfilled in Christ. This provided evidence that the Bible is that contains this universal message inspired by God is God’s world.
E.    The Bible’s Thematic Continuity
1.      You may ask, what is thematic continuity? Thematic continuity is the characteristic that any theme you find in the Holy Bible can be followed from Genesis to Revelation.  Pick one: Salvation, Judgement, Holiness, Justification, Redemption, Forgiveness, Love, etc., etc.  I used the theme of God’s redemption in making the point of the Holy bible’s universal  message in the last point from Genesis to the Gospels.  I can do that with all the other themes I mentioned from its beginning in the Bible to its end.  The point is that this characteristic of the Holy Bible to me proves that it is the word of God.
F.     The Bible’s Moral Code
1.      The Holy Bible has a very unique and high moral code.  It teaches this moral code by delivering to the reader testimonies that demonstrate the contrast between good and evil and the consequences thereof.  There has been a charge that the Bible has a double standard.  This is a misunderstanding of the Bible’s Moral Code.  The Bible’s Moral Code has two sides, not two standards.  One side is legal the other side is gracious.  What happens is that people get trapped in the legal side of the Bible’s moral code and forget about or do not think they are entitled to the gracious side of the moral code of the bible.  The key of the Bible’s moral code is the status of the person’s relation to it.  For instance if a person is an unbeliever he can choose to live by the law or by his own conscience, if a person is an believer in Christ, he should live by faith and grace, but he can re-invoke the law to govern his life.  The law however, has no legal power over the believer in Christ in that the law can no longer condemn him.  What governs a believer in Christ?  The law of the spirit of life in Christ is what governs a believer’s life. That law of the spirit of life in Christ is characterized by a believer’s  life of faith emulating Christ’s life of faith and the amount graciousness the believer expresses upon other following the example of Christ’s graciousness. Who is Christ? Christ is the Messiah, a title given to Jesus of Nazareth.  The Law of Moses is not written for believers in Christ,  it is written for those who after committing to adhere to the Law of Moses do not obey God according to it.  The Law is resigned until it is taken out of the way in the role of an advisor, showing believer’s what  actions please God  and what actions displease God so that we would obey Him by that  gracious living according to the faith of Jesus, the Christ.  So the real issue is on which side of the of the Bible’s Moral Code do you want to live on.   This Biblical Moral code is divine and perfectly balances a believer moral life between the precepts and principles of  the law and  the life of the spirit of Christ.  It is consistent in its principles and its moral code.  It is this consistency that makes the Holy bible the word of God.

Tri-une Man in Two Dominions part 5: The Two Dominions.

I. Introduction:

This is an introduction to the last segment of the Triune Man in Two Dominions Bible Study Series.  We have covered a lot of ground and discussed the God created tri-une man. We started the series with the introduction of the series, which was a preparation study to the bible studies of the series: Man, the Spirit; Man, the Soul; Man, the body.  We have since learned that the God of Creation made Mankind in his image and likeness, that is he created mankind to think like and act like him.  That the God of creation has a soul, is Spirit and has expressed himself through the body of Jesus, the Christ. We discussed the responsibility of the tri-une man to follow the example of Jesus, who did not only come to earth to redeem mankind, but also leave us a blueprint on how a God filled man is supposed to operate upon the earth. We discovered that each of ours souls is the deciding part, choosing between following the appetites of the flesh and the desires of the spirit and that there is a constant battle between them. This makes the soul of  each person very valuable because whichever the soul chooses to satisfy that is the lifestyle that person lives under. The tri-une man is a restored spiritual being, that is learning and using his spiritual faculties in   We now come to the part of the series that discusses the two dominions that the God designed tri-une man operates in.

We begin with the concept that the Christian world view is the tri-une man world view:  Mankind is the God of this world, not Satan. The idea that Satan is the God of this world has been the popular deception in the twentieth century. The truth is that God is Creator of Mankind and has delegated to him the stewardship of this world under the power and authority of God himself.  Satan stole that power and authority given to Mankind through deception.  Later Jesus through his passion has restored and is restoring that power and authority that was first given to Mankind in the beginning of Creation, thereby restoring Mankind's status as the God of this world. Now in the twenty-first century the Church, the body of born again believers (the restored tri-une persons), is awakening to a new consciousness and awareness.  Believers today, are learning what they are and not just who they are and whose they are.  They are learning that they are Spirits that possess souls that live on the natural dominion in physical bodies. However, they are not the only human physical bodies that are dwelling upon the earth.  For unredeemed unbelieving mankind is also walking around in the natural dominion in physical bodies.  Here is the issue: Jesus died and redeemed all of mankind: believing Mankind and unbelieving Mankind, but each member of unbelieving mankind has to receive and accept the redemption payment for all of their sins respectively. This they must do by faith in the promise of God through Jesus, the Christ who said that God sent him into the world where unredeemed and unbelieving mankind lived, not to bring judgement and condemnation to mankind, but to provide an opportunity for each member of mankind to choose to be redeemed, (John 3:18) that is to be saved. It has to be a personal decision, as the act of disobedience to the law of God by Adam was a personal decision, so also the act of redemption must be a personal decision of God therefore, also again the act of receiving redemption by unbelieving mankind is a personal decision. (Romans 10:9)

So the war for the hearts and minds of all mankind are waged between Satan influenced mankind and God influenced mankind, to see how many souls each can persuade to believe one side and not believe the other.  Seeing that this is the case, it is the Church's  responsibility collectively and individually to understand and use the laws of the Natural dominion and Spiritual dominion to build up the witness of God on the earth. So it is without further explanation we now commence the study of the Natural dominion and then following the study of the Spiritual dominion.

II. The Natural Dominion

A. What constitutes the Natural Dominion? (Genesis 1+2) What constitutes the natural dominion is Mankind, the trees, vegetation, the animals, Sun, Moon and all the minerals and precious commodities within it, everything that was made by mankind, the kingdoms, nations and governments of  mankind with their respective economic systems and militaries, the
atmosphere, stars, clouds, fire, water, daylight and darkness or night.  The triune man, that is believing mankind is steward over the natural dominion (Genesis 1:26-28; Matthew 13:1-9, 18-23) that God through Christ has entrusted believing mankind to manage to the glorification of God.  The triune man's purpose is to glorify God with the resources he or she has available. (Proverbs 3:9)  The triune man must know how function according to or even exceed certain natural laws  of the natural dominion.  What are those natural laws? They are as follows:

1. The Law of Time
a) The natural dominion was kick-started  by the Chrono's of God.  God's life rhythm governs the life force of the planet.  God interjection of light  into a dark murky  liquid state that began the cycle of light and darkness on the face of the deep. ( 2 Peter 3:5; Genesis 1:2-5)
2.     The Law of Tides
a)     The Natural dominion’s liquid state was kept in check by the God created Moon, while the earth was kept in check by the God created Sun.  The gravitational pulls of the moon and of the Sun causes the tidewaters to rise and fall as well as agitate back and forth.(Genesis 1:14-18)
3.     The Law of Seasons
a)     This Natural Law is also dictated by the gravitational pulls of the Moon and the Sun  as the Moon orbits the liquid state of the earth and the Liquid state of  the earth  orbits the God created Sun. (Genesis 1:14-18) As recent scientific observation has discovered that the orbital path of the earth is not a perfect circle, but rather an ellipse in which  the Sun is off center  to one side  of the ellipse causing the Sun to appear larger during the warmer points of the year and  farther in the colder parts of the year.  The relational distance of the two is what effects the seasonal changes on a rhythmic basis.  Jesus stated that understanding  how things cycle in nature is the key to understanding the parables of the Kingdom of God . I will deal with that when we get to the laws of cycles.
4.     The Law of Procreation
a) This Natural Law is a law that exists specifically in all mammals,  All mammals on the planet procreates in one form or another, but one thing is consistent between all of them. The seed of their future existence is within each mammal species. (Genesis 1) This is the choice of the creator of the Universe to permit  the multiplicity of every species on the the planet that some form of procreation would preserve the existence of the respective species.
5.     The Law of Replenishment
a) Just as the Natural Law of procreation was implemented by the Creator, so was the Law of replenishment.  Why replenish?  The word hints to the pre-existence of something else that vacated the planet before the creation of mammals.  That is another study.  The point is the Law of Replenishment is the natural law that allows the management of the number of respective species on the planet.  The chief species is the human species and it was given to this species the power to govern the planet and replenish the human species all over the earth.  (Genesis 1:26)
6.     The Law of Cycles
a) This Natural law is observable all over the place.  Let us just start at replenishing and procreation.  They both are in the various cycles of the lives of the  various species of the planet,  (Ecclesiastes 3:1-11, John 4:35)  This natural law is also characterizes the cycles of seasons and times.  Time is a cycle that we take a linear look in order to understand where we were and to project to where we might end up.  Seed time and Harvest time are periodic cycles that allow farmers to produce food for consumption.  The triune man has to to know the beginning of good cycles and the beginning of bad cycles.  For example the story of Joseph son of Israel in the bible is a good example:  Joseph was so in-tuned to his spiritual purpose in God  that God revealed to him the interpretation of  the Pharaoh's nightmare. A nightmare that disclosed two cycles, one of plenty another of famine both for period of 7 years.  Because Joseph interpreted a nightmare of the Pharaoh via revelation, for the Pharaoh did not disclose the nightmare to him,  he was put in charge of the management of all the goods and produce of Egypt, so that when the period of famine hit the nation of Egypt, Egypt's economy would not suffer.
7. The Law of Agreement
a)  This natural law speaks more directly to how Humans deal with each other.  Now there are various different types of Agreements that dictate behavior of those agreed.  Those agreements took the form and still in some cases the form of pacts, contracts and covenants.  These 3 written type of documents  if managed properly can elevate a triune man to the place where he can serve God in Christ unhindered.  On the other hand if the triune being mismanages these documents he will find himself bound to live a life slaving for his freedom from them.   Now I am no lawyer, but you don’t have to be one to know that if I made a pact with someone, I am obligated to whatsoever I promised. Why?  Because God lives up to his promises, and since I am a representative of God, any pact I make with anyone is a reflection on God and his goodness.   A pact can take the form of a simple promise to doing a certain vowed thing for someone.  Once we put our word on a pact we are committed to live up to that agreement.  Now suppose the other party does not live up to their side of the agreement?  If the other party is a believer, you must seek to forgive him, because unlike you, that person may be ignorant of what he is and how his words are important in representing God to the world.   If the other party is not a believer, release him from his indebtedness to you and count it as a seed planted in his life. Why? Because whatsoever you plant in the life of another will return to you  (Luke 6:34+35).
i.  I remembered learning this principle when a classmate borrowed a calculator from me promising to give it back to me the very next day.  Well that classmate did not return the calculator, but I saw him the very next day.  What did I do?  I counted it as a seed planted in his life.  Did I lend to him again? No I did not, but I in returned received 5 new calculators from different sources.  This didn’t only happened with the calculator, it happened later in my life when I gave away clothes or food or anything else and counted it as a seed planted in those people’s lives, did not God find a way for me to be blessed through different resources.   So too a triune man must learn to be forgiving and compassionate if he is to operate in this natural dimension  the way He wants him to operate.
b. Now it is important that a triune being be careful with whom he is agreeing with and for what he is agreeing to.  The terms of the agreement must be clear and fully understood. (This is where reading the fine print of an agreement is very important) All the clauses and the rights afforded to the triune being must be clear.  Any degree of ambiguity in a written agreement  can leave and avenue for dishonest behavior and for a triune being to be defrauded of his rights.   Case in point: The laborers in the Vineyard (Mathew 20:1-15),  the men in the first hour did not think to renegotiate  their wages with the vineyard owner, they assumed that since they worked longer than all the rest of the laborers that were hired later than they were that they were to receive more.  What they got was what they agreed to.  The same is true for the triune being, he must be careful what agreements he or she makes for whatever benefit the triune being thinks he or she ought to receive.  Make no assumptions, implied or assumed agreements makes for confusion and discontention between the parties involved.   It is not a moral issue, it is practical one.  If it was practical for the vineyard owner to put all those idle men to work for a penny a day so that his harvest would get done,  why should those men get upset after agreeing to work the whole day for just a penny?  Now if increases were promised by the vineyard owner and they did not receive what was agreed to then they would have a legitimate complaint.

Now in the US, we have regulations and laws, written laws and those laws allow us to live in this nation in peace with everyone else.  The triune being must obey these laws as long they do not interfere with his worship and obedience to God.  If any law interferes with the triune beings freedom to worship God, that triune being, in the US,  can protest that his rights to worship granted by the constitution and the bill of rights of this country have been violated and can pursue litigation against that which is preventing his freedom to worship.
c. The Listing of Agreements
i There are agreements listed all over the Bible. They are initially symbolized as by one party or person giving something of considered value to another in the sight of witnesses for another item.  This is known as the Barter system and it was the way things were done because written words were not fully developed yet.  A good biblical example of this system being in effect in Geneses is when Abraham purchased  the burial plot for himself and his family from the people he sojourned among in Canaan. (Genesis  23:19 + 25:10)  Later as words became visible  on stone and parchment, agreements were written down and witnessed for validation.  Since then mankind has developed different written forms of agreements.  The following list are the different forms of agreements since biblical times.
1.     Promissory:  This type of agreement takes the form of a small debt contract agreed to by all parties involved and validated by witnesses.  An IOU is a promissory note for example where one party promises to pay to another  party at a later date for the debt he or she incurred.
2.     Verbal: This is one of the oldest forms of agreement. We sort of discussed this in the general discussion concerning agreements.  This agreement can be issued by one side also.  For example: A vow is a verbal agreement (Eccls 5:5, Duet 23:21).  One dynamic of verbal agreements  is that  they are  convertible to any other  form of written agreements.   For example: Once a vow is written down it can become a promissory note.
3.     Legal agreements:  This type of agreement takes many forms and is used for various reasons.  Some of the different types of legal are:
          A.    Non-circumvent agreement- This is a type of legal agreement that prohibits any changes to any  signed contractual      agreement and may appear as a clause within an agreement.
          B.    Statutory agreement- This is an agreement that is based upon and framed by governmental laws and may appear as a clause within an agreement.
          C.    Testament agreement-This is an agreement of the author, also known as the testator, who bestows  powers, rights and property to another usually a heir of the author.  Testament agreement does not go into effect until the testator dies.
          D.   Land Covenant agreement- This is an agreement that certain conditions of the land will remain in place until the last descendant of a people or of a family passes away.
          E.   Purchase agreement- This is a sales agreement between a seller and a buyer of a product property, the latter usually is preceded by and written offer to purchase accompanied with a financial consideration issued by the buyer.
         F.    Governmental Law agreements- Theses are a set of laws or rules ratified by a corporate body of people who agrees to be govern by.
                      1)     Monarchies- This is a form of government that is constituted by a King and a court of nobles or Lords.  Kings and Lords are not elected. They are appointed: Kings by divine appointment and birthright and Nobles by Kingly appointment.
                      2)     Democracies- This is a form of government that people agreed to be ruled by. The leaders of a Democracies are elected and serve designated length of times in office.
                      3)     Dictatorships- This is the form of government that a person of persuasion and military prowess impose his or her rulership over people.  Dictators are not elected or appointed.  Dictators take leadership over the people most of the time against the will of the people.
          G. Marriage agreements- This is a type of agreement that two people mutually enter into, either for economic benefit, popularity, politically security and lastly for romance. These types of agreements that founded and develop societies.  Biblical marriages are constituted of a man and a woman who have decided to join themselves together to form a foundation to a family unit and have commence the union through vows of loyalty and devotion and a commitment to their union until death takes either one of them away, thus dissolving the union.
ii. One thing to keep in mind about written agreements, they are binding. That is, once they are agreed to and a commitment is made, the parties involved are obligated to the terms of the agreement and to the performance of the terms that agreement requires. Any party involved in a written agreement does not perform according to the terms of an agreement, that party, is in breach of the contract and are therefore subject to the penalties identified in the agreement.
The point is that a tri-une man needs to be knowledgeable of these and many more written laws that govern his behavior in the natural dominion.  Jesus, for us believers, is that example and he explains and demonstrates how the natural dominion works when a tri-une man is asserting himself .  Jesus did not come to this earth, instructed his disciples to walk after him and then make it impossible for anyone to follow him.  Jesus appeared upon the earth to show us how to live as a tri-une being in the natural dominion.
There are problably more Natural Laws than what I have disclosed in this article.  I leave that for you, dear reader to discover.  For if I could list every natural law.  It would be a book to itself.   Besides we only have traveled so far in this series to fall short of the end.  That is the revelation of  the Spiritual Dominion
III The Spiritual Dominion
A. What constitutes the Spiritual Dominion: The Spiritual Dominion has two sides, one side is Darkness the other side is Light.  God Created both.(Genesis 1:1-4, Isaiah 45:7)  The darkness of the Spiritual Dominion came into existence when Lucifer and his Angels rebelled against God.  Understand that God is light and anything that alienates or separates from the light of God enters darkness.   God had to place those who rebelled against him somewhere in the Spiritual Dominion, so God placed those fallen Angels and Lucifer, aka Satan in the darkness in the Spiritual Dominion until the day of their final judgment.(Jude 1:6; Luke 10:18)  Now this darkness is a corresponding darkness we experience on the earth everyday.  God design the movement of the earth so, so that we can understand what the spiritual dominion is like.  Earth is a reflection of the Spiritual dominion and as such is subject to many of the same Laws the Natural Dominion is subjected to.  There is a very few exceptions.  One is the Law of Gravity, in the Spiritual Dominion there is no law of gravity, what goes up does not necessarily come back down.  In the Spiritual Dominion Angels fly, Demons fly and travel faster than light.  Remember Demons were once Angels so traveling by flying  is not a problem with them they are restricted to remain in the Dominion of Darkness, the darkness of the Spiritual Dominion.   The Spiritual Dominion has the Holy City in the Midst of it and the lamb of God is the light of that City. That city is the kingdom of Christ. The kingdom of God covers the expanse of the whole of creation both spiritual and natural.  The Spiritual Dominion has spirits of just men made perfect communing with the Lamb of God and it has tortured souls in the bowels of Hell, held there until the final judgment where all souls in hell will be tossed along with hell in to the place of eternal torment: The lake of fire.   God had to create the Lake of fire for Satan and his Angels, Hell is just the holding cell.  Neither the Lake of fire or Hell was not designed for Human souls to inhabit,  unfortunately some human souls will suffer in there as their souls are tossed in along with Satan and the fallen Angels at the final judgment.   Now  remember the spiritual dominion is just a state that overlaps the earthly existence.  One day God will make the holy City appear and place it on the physical Earth.  For now it exists spiritually in the hearts of  believers of God on the earth.  Now to address some obvious questions:
If the fallen Angels are restricted in the dominion of darkness how come they can posses a soul on earth?
The answer to that question is simple. The Spiritual Dominion co-exists along with the Natural Dominion,  that is reflected in the fact that God allowed night to exist on the natural dominion.   Demons can only possess a soul by permission of that soul.  A soul can give a demon possession of his or her soul knowingly or in ignorance.  Angels assist souls in the effort to do good and give glory to God.
Why does Demons need to possess souls?
Demons need to possess souls because a spirit can not do any physical harm to anyone, Demons are spiritual beings,  Satan is a spiritual being and can not do to any person any physical harm unless he is permitted to inhabit a physical body.  Remember when Jesus cast out 1000 demons out of a man and sent them into a herd of swine which ran into the water and drowned?  (Mark 5:1-13) Demons can not actuate physical harm unless they possess a physical body. They know if they can posses the soul of a Tri-une man, they can make that man do anything they want him to do.  They have to be invited  in by the one to be possessed.  Jesus is the only hope for persons possessed by a Demon.  All that possessed person has to to is show that he believes that Jesus can deliver him and Jesus will deliver him.  Remember that story in the Gospels of the demon possessed boy whose father solicited the services of Jesus to exercise the demon out of the boy?  The father said, I believe, help thou my unbelief.   That little statement of faith in Jesus's ability to deliver his son from the demon that possessed him was enough to allow Jesus to deliver the man's son. (Mark 9:17-25)   Demons also need to possess souls because God gave mankind authority over everything.  So if a Demon can possess one tri-une man's soul he can control the authority that tri-une soul possessed.  Demons do not have to cause physical harm to the one it possesses, the demon can influence the thoughts and words of the one possessed to frustrate the will of God on the earth, which is to win and save as many souls as he can before the day of the final judgment.  God has chosen that the best way to win souls is to have other tri-une persons who believe in Him  to persuade unbelieving tri-une persons to be saved by Him.  Demons attempt to possess as many souls or deceive as many souls as possible so that those souls will not choose to be saved  by God.
Why don't Angels try to possess a tri-une man's soul?
Angels do not need to possess a tri-une man's soul because Angels act under the authority of God and of tri-une man.  They do not need to steal the authority away from a believing soul to do the will of God.  All angels can do is obey the commands of a tri-une man in the will of God. (Hebrews 1:13+14)  This however limits what an Angel can do.  If a tri-une man does not possess enough faith in his own God given authority to command them according to the will of God, they can not do anything. The tri-une believer in God commands angels through his prayer requests and petitions.  Once a tri-une believer prays a request that is in line with the will of God, the Angels are activated to move on that prayer request.  Angels can influence men, cause situations be turned around in favor of the tri-une man that prayed the request. Angels send words of inspiration and encouragement to tri-une believers of God to keep them encouraged.  Many times these encouraging words are delivered through a message of a preacher.  Ever hear a preacher say, I do not know who this message is for or why I am going this way in this message and then preach a message that ministers to the heart of a soul that needed to hear it.  I have experience such a thing as a lay person and as a preacher.  I was prepared to preach a particular message one Sunday.  As soon as I began to preach my message went entirely a different direction than what I had planned to share.  At the end many people came to me and stated that the message was what they needed to hear at that time.  Because I, as a tri-une believer in the office of a preacher, yielded to the promptings of the Spirit of God through his holy Angels was able to deliver the word that was needed to be heard at that time.    This is important for tri-une believers to know,  yield to the promptings of the Holy Spirit, yield to what angels are telling you to do in the will of God.   I just watched the testimony of a young man that said that God told him in the 1st grade to pay off his grand parents mortgage.   He  yielded to that command, it took some sacrifice, it took some time,  but he completed what God told him to do. That man received a financial blessing for his obedience.   It testified to me to that if  I do what God told me to do, God will bless me.

It is therefore, important to understand that Jesus is the model of  a tri-une man on the earth for believers to emulate.  Jesus obeyed the will of his heavenly father and was blessed with many souls.  Abram left his homeland to a land he did not see in obedience to the will of God  and he received a new name, Abraham, and became the father of many nations.   Whatever God blesses you for your obedience to his will, I pray it was inspired by this series.  So the battle lines have been drawn,  you as a tri-une man is caught in the middle of it whether you like it or not, whether you believe it or not.  As you work with God, God will work with you and bless you in all your endeavors.

Now  in this series we have moved from Man the Soul to Man the Spirit to Man the body to the Two Dominions, but all this is a waste if you are not saved. None of this means anything to you if you haven’t taken advantage of the life God has prepared for you in Christ. Do you want to know how to become his child and learn all the secrets of his kingdom?  Just say the following prayer with all your heart.

Dear heavenly Father,

In Jesus’ name, I come to you now as a repentant sinner.  I confess all of my sinfulness to you and ask you to forgive all of my sins for Jesus’ sake. Wash away all of my sins by the blood of your Son Jesus.  For I now believe that Jesus died for my sins according to your Holy Word, the Bible and that he was raised from the death according to the Bible.  I now invite your Holy Spirit to come and live inside of me and make me your child. I promise to strive to live holy everyday with the Help of your Holy Spirit and by studying the Bible every day. I thank you Lord for saving me.

If you have recited the above prayer with all sincerity, I welcome you the Family of God! Right now the Angels of heaven are rejoicing because you have repented and believed in the hope of all men’s salvation.  Jesus, the Christ, the Son of God.

The next thing you need to do is find a bible believing church, so that you can grow up in Christ and in God. To become what God designed you to be.  Isn’t that exciting!?!

My Experience With Tithing

I went through that experience like so many disenfranchised believers of the church.  I tithed to be blessed, I even thought that when I purchased my first home, I believed that it was due to my tithing efforts.  Then the bottom fell out,  I couldn't find a good paying job and therefore could not tithe. Like many believers who believed in tithing the way it is popularly taught,  I went to the church for assistance, but was told they could not help me and that I ought to have more faith.  After a while, as my economic conditions worsened,  I was told that I was cursed because I couldn't tithe.  I went into deep depression, but I hung on to Jesus and started searching the Bible on the topic of tithing for myself.

What I discovered that tithing is in the Bible and it can bless a believer but it is taught incorrectly.  I discovered that tithing is no longer commanded to be observed.  Tithing will still be honored by God, if the believer activates it.   What is directed by Christ is that we give in order to be blessed.  Tithing is just one form of giving that a believer can use to control the amount he is giving.  Now Tithing is not limited to money,  a believer can tithe food, time, etc. There is a teaching that says that tithing is not for Christian believers.  After a lot of study in the bible and of early church history, I discovered that the first church was comprised of mainly Jews until the Holy Spirit revealed to Peter that the Gospel message was also to be shared with the Gentile world.

Now what did those early Jewish Christian believers do regarding tithing?  In order to not offend unbelieving Jews that practiced Judaism, they observed tithing and other legal matters stipulated by the Law of Moses.  How do I know this? I know this is because of the mention of the circumcision party which was a group of supposedly Jewish Christian believers that held on to some practises of Judaism.  They believed that no one could be saved unless they obeyed the Law of Moses.  They viewed the baby Christian community was another sect of Judaism or another extension of Judaism, like the Essenes, or the Zealots.   They believed that they were doing the right thing in turning the Gentile believers of Christ into Jews via the act of circumcision and make them obligated in keeping the Law of Moses. It all came to a head in Jerusalem where Peter, Paul and James gave cause to not forcing upon the new Gentile believers the very Law that they could not keep.  Among the things they suggested the new Gentile believers to observe, no mention of observation of the tithe was required. (Acts 15:1-32) Did this mean that Gentile believers did not have to tithe as perscibed by the Law of Moses?  Yes it meant exactly that.  However,  the writer of Hebrews wrote this phrase:

"And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth." (Hebrews 7:8)

Hebrews was written by a Jewish Christian scholar, of which many attribute the authorship of Hebrews to Paul.  The author of Hebrews is unknown, despite this he points to the fact that "one  of whom it is witnessed that he lives" receives tithes.   The Writer of Hebrews was comparing the fact that under the old Leviticus order the priests that received tithes of the nation died off, but under Christ we have a high priest after the order of Melchizedek, a high priestly order that predates the Levitical and Aaronic priestly orders,  which also receives tithes. The point is,  in order for Christ to receive tithes, believers would have to be giving tithes.  Another point is that this letter is speaking to the time period after the event of the passion of our Lord took place. This means that the practice of tithing did not end with the fulfillment of the Law by Christ's sacrifice on the cross of Calvary.   Upon further studies, I discovered that Abraham gave tithes, not of any commandment but out of an attitude of wanting to bless God for blessing him.  Abraham did not give tithes to get blessed, he gave tithes because he was blessed.  Another point I discovered is that Abraham gave tithes under the promise.  Why is this important? Because the Bible says this:

"And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect." (Galatians 3:17)

The tithe that was first enacted upon under the promise by Abraham was not discontinued when the Law of Moses was ratified by the blood of the first Lamb slain in the wilderness.   The Law of Moses codified the act of tithing and placed it under the laws of vows in the book of Leviticus. (Leviticus 27).   Because tithing was placed under the Laws of vows,  tithing is a vow and is governed by the Law of Vows which says he who vows something must pay whatsoever he has vowed.  But Christ is the end of the Law, for everyone that believes in him (Romans 10:4).  This means that if someone tithes he is now tithing under the ratified promise of God to Abraham through Christ.  If someone chooses not to tithe he can not be condemned by the Law of Tithes as perscibed in the Old Testament.  For Paul wrote:

"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."(Romans 8:1)

and

"This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law." (Galatians 5:16-18)

Did we hear that right?  If we be led of the Spirit we are not under the authority of the Law?  So if we are not under the authority of the Law of the tithe as prescribed under the Law of Moses.  What law are we under?  We are under the Law of the Spirit of Christ (Romans 8:2).  What does that mean?  It means that the same duty, obligation and obedience that was once required by the Law of Moses  is now required by Jesus, the Christ, the High priest of our profession.  So Jesus, being our eternal high priest receives tithes of us if we are willing to bless him with it. For the tithe is not of legal obligation, but of a willing and grateful heart.

Question: How can we give Jesus tithes if he departed the earth over 2000 years ago?  Jesus left his body on the earth, namely the church.  It is this body that represents Jesus on the earth and by giving our tithes to the church we are giving tithes to Christ.  Now supposed we can not give tithes due to a financial downturn or tragedy?  There is no obligation to continue giving tithes if you run into financial problems. and you are not less than a believer for not doing so.  Give what you can and God will bless you.

Update:

I have been listening to an ongoing debate between believers in the obedience to the Law and those who do not believe the Law has any bearing on believers today in relation to this subject of tithing.  Look, The writer of Hebrews stated that a Testament, a legal binding agreement between the one who going to die, called a Testator, and the ones assigned to carry out his or her last wishes, known as the, Executors of the Testators will, will not go into Legal force until the Testator dies.  Question: Did Jesus die on the Cross? Yes He did.  Therefore, from that time forth what ever the Testator, Jesus, the Christ, commanded his disciples to do as Executors of his last will, that is what they must carry out.

The writer of Hebrews and the Apostle Paul wrote expressly how the Law of Moses, as good and Holy it is, could not make righteous or holy those who adhered to it.  A change of Law was required and a change of priesthood was also required.  So by Christ's death on the cross, Jesus fulfilled the righteous demands of the Old Law and by dying put it out of Legal power, simultaneously Christ by his death ratified with his own Holy blood the promise of God which the inception of the Old Law could not end by its ratification by the blood of Lambs and Oxen.  In other words the Promise ran concurrent with the dispensation of the Law, even though the Promise proceeded the Old Law by 430 years. ( Galatians 3: 17; Hebrews  7:11-16) Both were radically changed at the Cross of Calvary when Christ died.  For when Christ died the curtain leading to the Holy of Holies in the sanctuary in the Temple was torn from top to bottom.  Now this was no easy feat, for the curtain of the Holy of Holies was several feet high and about a foot thick.  They had to use a rope to pull it open enough for the High Priest to enter in once a year to plead for the forgiveness of the people.  This tearing of the curtain of the Holy of Holies signified that God has made himself accessible to all people that believe in Him.  This way to the Holy of Holies was made by Christ and His sacrifice on the Cross.  This also signified that the old priesthood was no longer needed to interceded for the people.  Christ now is our High priest goes and intercedes for us before God (1 John 2:1), who believe in Jesus. How could Christ do this?  He wasn't born a Levictical Priest or an Aaronic Priest, how could Jesus be a High Priest.  Like I stated before, Jesus is of the Melchizedekian priestly order.  This order preceded the Levitical and Aaronic priesthoods and operated under the promise.  So for those who say we ought not to tithe because there is no levitical priesthood to receive the tithes, must also acknowledge that there is now a ratified Melchizedekian Priestly order in Christ. This priesthood also receives tithes. Tithes under the promise are not to be given under commandment but with gratefulness  and thankfulness, in the same way that Abraham the father of faith in God gave his tithes to the king of Salem, Melchizedek.  (Genesis 14)

Those who seek to obey God through the keeping of the Old Law which has no more legal power before God, is adhering to dead works.  For the Bible states if one choses to keep the Law, he must keep all of it or be deemed as a trangressor of it all. Also if one does keep the law he must pay the consequences of falling short in the obedience to it.  Who wants to keep a law that cannot justify him or her? Who wants to keep a Law that promises life, but proves to be unto death for him or her?  For the Law is Holy, just and pure.  We are all sinners before the Cross, under the Law for the Law of Sin and death is made evident by the Old Law.   The Law of the Spirit of Christ in us puts to an end the Law of Sin and death  and the legal power of the Old law that gave it life. Christ is that Law and our Law now is Christ.

If anyone searches the practice of tithing in the scriptures they will discover as I did that God only intended those who were able to tithe.   It all hinges around the word "increase".  Now many preachers will tell you that word is synonymous with the word "income".  This is not true.  Income is the flow of revenue into you possession, Increase is exceeding from a previous level.  Now if you experience an increase in your income it is the increase that God desires a tithe out of. This is very different from what has been taught, which is 10 percent of your income.   God concern is not with money, he is concern with you thankfulness and gratefulness.  Tithing your increase in income is showing that thankfulness and gratefulness.

After I gained this revelation,  I tested it.  I will tell you now that I have received a good paying job that I have been able to hold on  for 11 years and allow me to go back to school to get my CIS degree in college and obtain another better paying job  which I plan to hold on to it  until God releases me into full time ministry.  I have a home and a car.  In short, I have been continually blessed because I give what I can to the Church which represents Christ on the earth.  I have had preachers that told me that I am cursed for sharing this testimony, but I testify that God's word works if you work it. I am no longer influenced by erroneous teaching about tithing.   I hope that it blesses anyone that reads this.
